This patient consulted us concerned with his teeth getting ‘shorter’. He also had a gap between his front teeth which compared with photo’s from years before, was getting considerably bigger. This was all caused by a severe grinding habit which caused the vertical height of his face to become reduced and causing the upper teeth to be pushed further apart as well. It takes time to plan cases such as this to get the maximum long term results. We were even able to accurately reduce the gap between his front teeth to his desired size. Using digital dental techniques we restored all his teeth using Emax crowns and well as some bonded fillings.
