Facial Aesthetics

Our Facial Aesthetics is guided by dental surgeons and medically trained professionals. After years of treating the face and literally thousands of injections and development of fine surgical skills, our clinical practice has extended from dentistry and have now introduced facial aesthetics into our treatments provided to our patients.

We offer FREE consultations with our Aesthetician and offer a range of packages for our clients to ensure they get the best results for their facial aesthetics needs.

Chemical Peels
Chemical Peels

We have a wide range of different chemical peels, all targeting different problems.  Chemical peels not only slough off the superficial layers of the skin, but will stimulate the basal layer of skin cells, leading to rejuvenation of the skin.  With chemical peels, it is imperative that you follow your homecare advise given by the aesthetician.

Sunblock with SPF 50 must be used, since the initial thinning of the skin can lead to UV damage on the lower layers of the skin. Chemical peels can be used to treat fine lines, scars, pigmentation issues, and to strengthen the skin.

Mesotherapy Skin Treatments
Mesotherapy Skin Treatments

Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure where a series of superfine injections of vitamins, minerals and amino acids cocktails are delivered into the mesodermal layer of the skin.

This infusion of savvy ingredients nourishes and rejuvenates the skin while also stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, both essential for skin’s natural elasticity.

PRP Skin treatments
PRP Skin treatments

This treatment is done using the patient’s own blood, centrifuging it, and extracting the very rich plasma, which we can then re-inject for the desired effect (mesotherapy).  There are many uses for PRP treatments (orthopaedics, plastic surgery, chronic wounds, dentistry and aesthetics).  PRP will rejuvenate and delay the ageing of skin by stimulating fibroblast proliferation, stem cell proliferation and differentiation, collagenesis and vascularisation.

The benefits of this will be improved skin texture and tone, refinement of signs of ageing (lines and spots), hydration, reduction of scars and gradual increase in the skin thickness and vitality.  Your aesthetician will advise how many treatments would be necessary, since this all depends on the condition of your skin.

Anti-Wrinkle Treatments
Anti-Wrinkle Treatments

Keeping your face smooth and supple is no easy task. Wrinkles form as our skin gets older and less elastic, and the sun does its fair share of damage too. Injectable anti-ageing treatments are a quick and convenient way to smooth out those lines on the forehead and around the eyes and mouth without any need for surgery. We now offer injectables with genuine products, in a clinical environment performed by highly qualified medical professionals.

There are a number of products on the market and they all work in a similar fashion, where they inhibit stimulation of nerves supplying the muscles involved. This causes the muscles that cause facial wrinkles to relax. The more relaxed the muscles are the less strength they have to produce folds in the skin. It is the contraction of the facial muscles that over time cause these folds to occur and become deeper and permanent.   By relaxing the muscles causing the folds in the skin, we can in time soften and eliminate the lines.

Research between products shows that depending on the area to be treated, that one product may be more effective than the other. Our expertly trained team will advise you on the best product to get you the best looking result.

Facial Rejuvenation with Dermal Fillers
Facial Rejuvenation with Dermal Fillers

As we get older, our skin loses elasticity, and the amount of collagen in the skin is greatly reduced.  This leads to ‘softening’ of the skin and sagging, resulting in even more wrinkles and lines.

Dermal Fillers treatment involves injecting a medically developed solution under the skin with a fine needle to enhance facial features and plump and fill lines, grooves or sunken areas. Dermal Fillers are used to treat a range of skin concerns, including lack of volume and shallow to deep wrinkles and folds, such as smile, marionette and lipstick lines and those on the corners of the mouth, chin and cheek.

Administered correctly by a medical professional, they can subtly smooth, soften, contour and tone the skin; restore youthful plumpness, enhance and define your features.

All the products we used are tested thoroughly and backed by years of clinical trials and results before being used. Cost of treatment depends on each patient and essentially how much of the product is required. Early intervention with Dermal Fillers can mean less is needed later in life.

Fibroblasting with a Plasmapen
Fibroblasting with a Plasmapen

A plasmapen is a medical device which causes tiny burn wounds.  This device can be used with great success to remove unwanted skin tags and benign moles.  Please be aware that overly large moles should rather be removed surgically by a plastic surgeon.  Removal of these lesions will lead to a small brown scab (no cutting or sutures are involved!), which should naturally dislodge within a week.

The plasmapen can also be used to tighten up skin, and to soften lines (like the ones on ears following years of wearing overly heavy jewelry).  It is minimally invasive, and can be done by using topical anaesthetic alone, no injections or sedation needed.

Collagen Induction Therapy
Collagen Induction Therapy

This procedure is to strengthen skin, to reduce scars, and to improve the texture and tone of your skin.  We apply some topical anaesthetic to make the procedure as painless as possible.  With micro needling we can then introduce some agents into the skin.  The agents we use depend on what your needs might be.

This treatment is very successful for the treatment of stretchmarks or scarring.  It will thicken the skin due to the large amount of collagen that your body will naturally produce, and this will lead to much improved skin texture and tone.
